ManVan Plymouth - How Big are our Vans?

****STOP PRESS**** As of 1/7/18 we are now also operating an LDV Luton Van. Not quite as tall or wide as our Mercedes Sprinter she's more than capable of managing most medoum sized removals around Plymouth and further affield...the Empire expands!

Our Iveco Daily Van has 15 cubic metre capacity, the largest 3.5 tonne van on the British roads and has a good payload. Our Mercedes Sprinter Luton Van has 16-17 cubic metre capcity, with extra height to deal with American Fridge Freezers, Tall wardrobes, etc

The internal dimensions of the Iveco van are 4.5 metres long by 1.8 metres wide by 1.9 metres tall, whilst the Mercedes Luton is similar, but taller which means together , they will pretty much swallow anything. They are great vans for moving sofa's and household goods and fine individually for small 2 bedroom house or flat moves. If the job is larger then you can either opt for a couple of trips with one van or our two van option which pretty much deals with everything in one go.

On average with good access and things ready to go, it should take between 1 and 2 hours max to load these vans individually


Access to the loadspace on both vans is enhanced by rear doors which fold back, allowing the doors to be opened and folded flat to the van sides enabling the van to be reversed into narrow bays / alleys.



So how big are they? Put it this way it is higher than a Premier Division goalmouth and nearly as long. Park two of these at either end of a football pitch and you wouldn't need nets. If you need 'big' you've got it. Anybody that wants volume will be backing a winner with our Iveco Daily and Mercedes Sprinter
